so, tony refers to “manigote” as being white white, or american white, like, redneck no culture white

Actually that does not seem like an italian word but a Spanish one.
In this case it would be “Monigote” which means:
- An ignorant person with no value
- A person with no personality that is controlled by others
- A rag doll with a ridiculous shape.
- A paint or statue poorly made.
“Monigote” is used to reffer to people that are clows or puppets to others, coloquially. And that represent no value to whom reffers to them as “Monigote”.
