Garmin G3 is a device I highly recommend for every golfer. Whether you are into technology or you are not into using gadgets which seems complicated; there is one thing that I can assure you of the Garmin G3; it is very easy to use.

Since accuracy is something that is very important to every golfer, I would say that this device is fairly accurate. The most commonly visited golf courses in the U.S. and Canada have this feature incorporated already. The only downside is that it is not included in all golf courses but Garmin promises to update their data as soon as possible.

If you need to determine the range of distance of your next shot to your target then Garmin G3 has that covered too. You get the exact distance plus any additional information like a hazard in the area. Being able to have all the information that you need while you are playing allows you to be on top of your game. There are no doubts in every swing that you make. Instead, you are able to make an informed and well planned strategy in the golf course.

No Hidden Charges Using Garmin G3

Unlike other golf GPS device which charges you separately to set it up or to download information; there is no such thing with a Garmin G3. Once you’ve purchased it, you can use it right away and there is no subscription fees related to using this device.

Some Drawback

The Garmin G3 may seem a little heavy, at 5.3 ounces it may be a little inconvenient to carry around in your pocket. This could have been almost perfect if the manufacturer could improve on that aspect.

Another major complain that I gathered is about the battery life but if you would ask me, I would say that it is efficient. I use 2 lithium batteries for my Garmin G3 and I am able to use it for more than 10 hours.
