Skycaddie SG5 is Easy to Setup

The system is easy to setup, 10 to 15 mins is all that is needed to get the device ready, from registering for an account to installing the Caddie Sync software to my computer. In order to synchronize the latest information to the Skycadie SG5 all I need to do is to connect it to my computer using the USB cable that is provided, and it only takes a few minutes to get all the information into the GPS device.

The screen of the Skycaddie SG5 is also perfect since it is created for daylight viewing. No matter how bright the sun is, you will still see clearly the distance from the tee to the green. You will never have any difficulty viewing the colored screen of this device.

Improving Golf Score with Skycaddie SG5

Another advantage of Skycaddie SG5 is that it provides instant updates on yardages to your target. If there are hazards between you and the hole; it will be visible to you before you even get near to it. In that way you will be able to prevent your golf ball from falling into the pond. For this feature alone, my scores had significant improvements already.

There are several buttons in the Skycaddie SG5 which might take some time for other people to get accustomed to before they can be confident in using it. There are buttons for power, menu, information, mark shot, hole selection and two other keys. There are scroll pads too. For someone who is not technologically savvy this can be quite challenging to use but once you get used to them, this golf GPS system proves to be the perfect golf companion.

The other unpleasant part of all is the customer service which can be a challenge if you need to call them for assistance.
